Onsite Training During the COVID 19 Pandemic

Re: Onsite Training During the COVID-19 Pandemic

There are several precautions that we have implemented as a way to help stop the spread of COVID-19. These are small efforts that we can make to help the more vulnerable people in our community of Massachusetts, New England and beyond .

We have made these important modifications to all training events that will ensure that safety is the number one priority during the training.

  1. All doors to the training room will remain open (when possible) so students don’t have to touch doors.
  2. When entering the classroom all students are expected to use the provided alcohol-based hand sanitizer located at the entrance.- Antibacterial wipes and other disinfectant tools will be available during the training event.
  3. All students will be expected to sign a COVID statement
  4. If student touches, mouth, nose, face or eyes- be sure to use the provided hand sanitizer
  5. All students and instructor to wear cloth face covering for the duration of the class
  6. All students shall bring their own office supplies (i.e. pens), there will be no sharing.
  7. All students shall bring their own drinks and food
  8. All students to wash hands thoroughly when utilizing the bathroom
  9. All desks/tables will be set up to adhere to social distancing guidelines
  10. There will be NO paperwork distributed in the class. This will be done beforehand by your employer
  11. Classroom to be disinfected by fogger prior to the start of class
  12. All of the usual group activities have been modified to ensure no close student proximity throughout.
  13. Class size will be limited to ensure recommended social distancing at all times for participants.

*Specific for CPR/FA/AED

– Gloves will be available for everyone during the training.

– Manikins have been thoroughly disinfected with CDC approved pathogens cleaning solution.

– Each student will have their own manikin to work with so no sharing of manikins at all during the practice sessions.
